Prof.Dr.Ir. Massimo Mischi

Massimo Mischi received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) at La Sapienza University (Rome) in 1999. In 2004 he received the Ph.D. degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Here he was appointed assistant professor (2007), associate professor (2011), and full professor (2018) at the EE Dept. His research focuses on model-based quantitative analysis of biomedical signals. He was awarded with the VIDI Grant (2009) and with the ERC Starting Grant (2011) for his research on angiogenesis imaging. He is chairman of the IEEE EMBS Benelux Chapter and associate editor of IEEE T-UFFC.

Dr.ir. Jacques den Boer

Dr. ir. Jacques den Boer was born on 11 november 1938 in Vlaardingen, Netherland, educated in technical physics at Delft University and employed by Philips Research and Philips Medical Systems until 1995. He obtained his PhD at TU Delft in 1983 as a result of his study within Philips Medical Systems on a model of X-ray imaging systems. Since 1983 his interest has turned towards MR imaging, with emphasis on matching the clinical use of MR to the increasing power of the MR systems.
