Prof.Dr.Ir. Massimo Mischi

Massimo Mischi received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) at La Sapienza University (Rome) in 1999. In 2004 he received the Ph.D. degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Here he was appointed assistant professor (2007), associate professor (2011), and full professor (2018) at the EE Dept. His research focuses on model-based quantitative analysis of biomedical signals. He was awarded with the VIDI Grant (2009) and with the ERC Starting Grant (2011) for his research on angiogenesis imaging. He is chairman of the IEEE EMBS Benelux Chapter and associate editor of IEEE T-UFFC.

Dr.Ir. Chiara Rabotti

Chiara Rabotti received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florence, Italy, in 2004. From 2009 till 2010 she was employed as a researcher by Twente Medical Systems International (TMSi). In 2010 she received the PhD degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) on the characterization of uterine activity during pregnancy. She is currently Assistant Professor at the Signal Processing Systems Group at the Electrical Engineering Department of the TU/e. Her research interests include biomedical signal processing and modeling with specific focus on electrohysterography, electromyography, and electrocardiography.

Dr. Lin Xu

Lin Xu was born in 1980 in the southwest of China. In 2007 he started his master study at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, majoring in Electric Instrument and Measurement Technology, obtaining the MSc degree in 2010. In 2016 he received the Ph.D. degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) on the effects of vibration exercise on neuromuscular rehabilitation and conditioning. He is currently a Post Doc at the TU/e.
